During 1992 – 1997 she served as caller for ‘Radio Overvaal Stereo’, a community station in Bothaville where she presented amongst others “Kunstenaarsdebuut”and “Kort-beentjietyd”. This is followed by Christian children’s stories and puzzle games such as The Crucifixion, Noah’s Ark, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel. In 2007, she was approached by the Executive Director of ‘Radio Trans World’ to write short Christian stories for broadcasting. In 2020 her children’s story Sebastian, the adventurous lion cub, is presented by the ‘Kishugu Group of Companies’ and awarded a place of honour in the corporative world. Next is Snuffel-gids, a collection of poems that deal with short-lived moments of life experiences in the form of poems. June is currently busy with Vlug van die Nag, a suspense love-murder mystery. To pique her curiosity about the anatomy and physiology of the body in the form of life, she is currently pursuing a part-time study in holistic healing and hopes to achieve her qualification in 2023. Abortion Survivors (USA) (Pro-Life) approached June to write the book Lodene based on both her and Lodene’s life story.
